Smart DCA is an informational and educational tool. It is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial institution. The application does not execute trades, hold custody of assets, or access your brokerage accounts.

All investment recommendations, allocation percentages, and signals provided by Smart DCA are generated by machine learning models and should be treated as informational only. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or any other form of professional advice.

Past performance is not indicative of future results. Investing in securities involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. You should consult with a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

How It Works

Smart DCA analyzes market conditions using machine learning (XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost ensemble) and natural language processing (FinBERT) to suggest optimal timing for dollar-cost averaging investments. The process is:

1. Our ML models analyze daily market data after market close
2. The system suggests how much of your monthly budget to allocate
3. You execute the trade on your own broker (Interactive Brokers, XTB, Trading 212, etc.)
4. You log the investment here to track your portfolio performance

Privacy Policy

We collect the following data when you use Smart DCA:

• Account data: Google account email, name, and profile picture (via Google OAuth)
• Configuration: Your selected symbol, monthly budget, salary day, currency preference
• Investment logs: Dates, amounts, prices, and shares you manually record

Your data is stored in Supabase (cloud database hosted in the EU). We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not have access to your brokerage accounts. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Risk Disclosure

• ETFs, stocks, and cryptocurrencies can lose value. You may lose some or all of your invested capital.
• ML models are trained on historical data and may not predict future market conditions accurately.
• Currency conversion rates fluctuate and may impact your returns.
• The allocation percentages suggested by Smart DCA are model outputs, not guarantees of performance.
• Past backtested performance does not guarantee future results.

GDPR Compliance

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact the application administrator. Data processing is based on your explicit consent provided during account creation.

Tax Information

The tax summary feature provides estimates based on FIFO (First In, First Out) lot tracking. Tax calculations are approximate and may not reflect your specific tax situation. In Romania, capital gains are generally taxed at 10% (ANAF). Consult a tax professional for accurate filing. Smart DCA is not a tax advisor.
